🔹 Position: Data Entry & Gift Processing Coordinator

🔹 Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid Schedule)

🔹 Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

🔹 Hourly Rate: $25–$28/hr (with potential conversion up to $60,000)

About the Role:

In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to the Donor Database & Contributions Manager, playing a key role in gift processing, donor data entry, and financial transactions . If you have experience working with donor databases or CRM systems, strong attention to detail, and an action-oriented mindset, this could be a great fit for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and process donations (checks, cash, credit cards, wire transfers, EFT, stock contributions)
• Maintain and update donor records in Salesforce
• Conduct research on gift transactions and donor profiles
• Assist with database cleanups and data integrity audits
• Support fundraising campaigns and special projects
• Provide excellent customer service to donors regarding transactions and inquiries

What We’re Looking For:

1–3 years of experience with donor databases or CRM systems in a nonprofit environment

Experience with data analytics tools & queries

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience)
• Preferred: Prior experience with Salesforce database software
• Strong Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Office skills
• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication abilities
• Basic knowledge of accounting & finance
