Infosys is looking for a candidate with a strong GIS domain and technical knowledge. In this role candidate should be playing as a technology lead for implementing GIS solutions for Electric/Gas Utilities specific to ESRI platforms. The Candidate need to have experience in implementing GIS solutions preferably in Utilities markets. Candidates having strong development background in ESRI suite of applications will be preferred in this role. Candidate will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Oakland, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project

locations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 5 years of Information Technology experience.

• At least 4 years of total GIS industry experience,

• Experience of at least 1 or 2 full-cycle implementation for a utility (Electric/Gas) with hands on design, development and deployment experience in GIS.

• Experience with process integration of GIS with other utility enterprise and operational systems

• Experience with GIS Product Architecture, ArcGIS server, Utility Data Model, web services, python scripting, geo-processing services.

• Programming experience in Python(ArcPy).

• Experience of working in Agile development team, working with client teams/SMEs and through the project life cycle.

• Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams

• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment

• Perform the design, build, test and deploy solution on ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online and FME.

• Should be familiar with the latest technology trends in the GIS Industry.

• Should participate in requirement discussions with the client for the GIS program.

• Should be able to do the demos during the sprint meetings for the completed development work.

• Should be able to resolve issues related to the development or support of GIS applications

• Should be able to design the forms, workflows and portlets, integration with the required systems. Mobile platform development is an added advantage.

• Should be able to perform issue resolutions during support /Post-Go Live phase.

• Should be able to assist the Testing team with the functional areas to be tested.

• The candidate must be a team player and is also expected to help the project team with any functional issues that may arise during the course of the project.

• Participate in daily scrum meetings with the client and provide daily updates. Should work with onsite/offshore leads to provide the deliverables on time.
