Job Descriptions:  

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance person with experience across various chemical plant equipment; pumps, agitators, valve repairs, air compressors, small boilers, etc.. 

Job Responsibilities:  

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, machinery, and infrastructure. 
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of pumps, including centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. 
• Perform routine maintenance and conduct preventive maintenance inspections on pumps and associated equipment. 
• Troubleshoot mechanical and plumbing issues to ensure uninterrupted plant operations. 
• Assist in the installation, modification, and relocation of plant equipment. 
• Maintain and repair pumps, piping, and control systems. 
• Support emergency repairs and respond to breakdowns promptly. 
• Disassemble, troubleshoot, and reassemble pumps to ensure optimal performance. 
• Install new pumps and related equipment following manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations. 
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently 

Qualifications:  

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Minimum [10] years of experience in general maintenance, preferably in a chemical plant or paper mill. 
• Welding and basic fabrication skills is preferred. 
• Knowledge in pumping systems and pump maintenance including mechanical seal replacement, packing replacement, pump rebuild, and pump installation. 
• Familiarity with various types of pumps and their components. 
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment. 
• Familiarity with safety regulations and handling of hazardous material.
