Junior Systems Administrator

As the Junior Systems Administrator, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive technical and administrative support including installations, troubleshooting, software training, and maintenance across a variety of IT systems. In the role of Junior Systems Administrator, you must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a diploma from a Computer Technical School. Salary: $68,900 - $81,000/hour depending on experience and qualifications

Work location: Talbot County, Maryland

Essential Job Functions:

• Install, upgrade, and configure PCs and software packages
• Research and evaluate new technologies and software solutions
• Perform system maintenance and support across IT infrastructure, and maintain accurate records
• Provide hardware and software support for end users
• Schedule and conduct training programs for PC users
• Add users on the network and ensure network security
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Experience Level: Entry-Level

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or Computer Technical School diploma

• Strong analytical and communication skills required
• Must have good time management skills and work well under deadlines
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of Microsoft software
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to lift hardware components weighing up to 50 lbs

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
