Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Downers Grove, IL Salary: $35-40 hourly rate, Onsite 9-5 LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our client's organization in the Downers Grove, IL area Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair various assembly and processing equipment, including highly automated PLC controlled assembly lines and hydraulic presses. Troubleshoot and read schematics for pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot machinery and equipment. Communicate information on jobs performed either manually or electronically. Plan and implement safety, OEE, and production-related improvements. Keep the work area clean and safe. Qualifications: ~ Electrical knowledge- 480/220/120 ~1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with 1-2 years of maintenance experience. ~ Computer skills, including sending emails and using Excel sheets. ~ Demonstrated problem-solving habits. ~ Preferred experience in 24V DC to 480V AC electrical systems and troubleshooting high-pressure hydraulic systems. ~ Exposure to using a laptop to communicate with PLCs and troubleshoot issues. ~ Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
