Job Description

Provides PCB layout and part database support for the Hardware Engineering team. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Assists with PCB layout using OrCad and Altium design software. Manages parts library for PCB design. Organize existing database to include existing parts. Creates symbols and footprints for new components. Works closely with mechanical and electrical engineering to insure the PCB layout fits into the final assembly. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements BS in Electrical Engineering preferred. At least 5 years of experience with PCB layout design. Knowledge of and experience with PCB layout part databases. Ability to identify problems and develop solutions. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience, both technical and non-technical. Excellent customer service skills. Sense of urgency. Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department
