At AMA, you will join a young, fun, and fast-growing company that constantly pushes boundaries regarding marketing and promotion with artists for the global entertainment industry. We’re seeking a Marketing Manager to join our growing team based in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities
: Lead the company’s consulting & marketing initiatives project along with executives
[Management]
- Help the artist build a career that aligns with their goals and aspirations. This includes decisions around their image, brand, and overall career trajectory.
- Work on maintaining and enhancing the artist's public image and brand. This includes decisions about style, social media presence, and public relations.
- Organize and schedule concerts, performances, and tours. This involves working with booking agents, venues, and promoters.
- Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and other media appearances to keep the artist in the public eye.
- Help hire key staff such as booking agents, publicists, roadies, tour managers, and stylists.
- Oversee the release strategy for new music, ensuring it’s well-promoted through press releases, social media campaigns, and industry connections.
- Work closely with PR teams to manage press, interviews, and media outreach. This includes handling the narrative around album releases or controversial issues.
[Marketing]
-Planning and developing on integrated marketing activities such as implementing promotional plans and overseeing marketing strategies
-Create and update pitch decks and reports regarding business & marketing plans
-Assist in developing various partnership/collaboration opportunities with other companies through creative ideas
-Conduct research relevant to entertainment marketing strategies
-Coordinate design, production and writing of marketing material
-Develop and analyze trends, issues, and marketing plans for the industry
-Assist in developing various partnership/collaboration opportunities with other companies through creative ideas
-Partner with K-pop and international artists, managers, and labels to develop content strategy
-Strategize new and innovative ways to establish brand identity and increase brand awareness globally
-Brainstorm new ideas for marketing efforts
-Perform other duties and projects as assigned
[Communication]
-Manage existing relationships within the talent industry (Label, Distributors, Management, Digital Marketing Firms, Talent Agencies)
-Management and execution on 1-4 campaigns at a given moment, ensuring deadlines are hit, deliverables are completed, etc.
-Communicate with related internal/external departments to execute various activities and events.
-Translate/interpret given tasks such as meetings, emails, policies, contracts, etc.
Qualifications
2~5 years of experience in marketing, artist relations, promotion and entertainment/music industry.
Proficient in various digital marketing and social media advertising tools
understanding of entertainment/music industry and K-pop culture
Proficient in English, Korean or Japanese or Chinese
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Eligible to work in the US
Entertainment industry experience is a plus but not a must
