GENERAL SUMMARY

To lead and drive performance in the Bolting Systems Gonzales warehouse by overseeing day-to-day shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory controls in compliance with company policies and business strategies. This role will involve a mixture of hands-on repair and maintenance of rental tools and actively leading the team to manage the flow of rental tools through the warehouse ensuring that orders are picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently and accurately.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

• Assist and coordinating the warehouse in terms of compliance to company policies and strategy.
• Coordinate day to day shipping, receiving, tool maintenance, prioritize daily tasks, order processing and shop operations.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationship with both external and internal customers, suppliers, and transport companies.
• Coordinate rental inventory control and reconcile with the Operations Supervisor on lost or damaged tooling.
• Shop safety, ensuring all equipment is in safe operating condition and all safety shop rules are followed.
• Must be very organized and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have strong customer service skills upon interaction on will calls, after hour callouts or customer pickups.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs and able to learn new programs.
• Must have technical aptitude and be mechanically inclined to trouble-shoot repairs and increase productivity.
• Must be able to work an on-call schedule including after-hours weekends and holidays.
• Be hands on and lead by example.
• The ability to identify opportunities for process development and improvement
• A demonstrated commitment to EHS procedures and behavior.
• Knowledge on setup layout to provide feedback and ensure efficient space and asset utilization.
• Ensure cleanliness of building, work areas and external areas always using the 5S process
• Going the extra mile to engage the team and customers and develop relationships to increase business longevity, resolving any potential issues.
• Additional duties as assigned to ensure the smooth running of the business.

What do you need?

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of warehouse experience preferably in a rental or service fast paced environment.

• Must be effective at managing multiple tasks.

• Must have mechanical aptitude and technical background preferably working with high-pressure hydraulics.

• Must be able to work independently, be a self-starter, and be self-motivated.

• High School Diploma, Technical School, or GED required.

• Be computer efficient (Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP experience beneficial).

• Clean driving history.

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.

• TWIC card or ability to obtain.

• Must have a “can do” attitude.

SKILLS

• The ability to lead day to day task in the warehouse while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to work on multiple tasks and demonstrate experience in developing and leading the tool refurbishment processes.
• Physical demands of lifting, moving, and packing products. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• The ability to work and build relationships with colleagues across multiple and remote sites. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good initiative and ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated experience and success working in a fast paced, matrix environment satisfying multiple internal customers.
• Proven track record of meeting high performance standards in a team while maintaining ethics and integrity.
• Effective communicator, ability to build and manage relationship across multiple and remote locations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.

• Regularly required to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.

• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Warehouse conditions are in line with Hydraulic Technologies EHS regulations and country legislative safety requirements with regards to safe walkways, shelving and general working areas. Due to the nature of the warehouse environment, temperatures can range depending on seasonal conditions. Cleanliness is of paramount importance to Hydraulic Technologies however from time to time, dust and general packing materials may accumulate.

Noise can often be at levels that require hearing protection due to tool testing and general day-to-day activities in the workshop. All PPE is provided for by the company.
