Title: Sr. Linux/Unix Administrator

Location: Montgomery, AL, Ogden, UT , Mechanicsburg, PA and Oklahoma City, OK

Certification: Security+

Clearance: Secret or higher

Client: DISA

Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 3pm to 11pm

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all security/compliance functions for Solaris AND Red Hat Linux environments to monitor and mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance within specified timelines.
• Perform back-up/recovery functions for Solaris AND Linux server environment.
• Perform hardware and software technology refreshes, ensuring milestone compliance while coordinating with MPs to minimize disruptions.
• Manage and maintain currently supported and subsequent UNIX based Operating Systems (OS) on physical and virtual operating environments, providing technical oversight and consultation services.
• Work with and manage Incident Management tickets within help desk ticketing system.
• Provide technical support for disaster recovery efforts.

Basic Qualifications – Required Education, Certifications, Skills, and Experience :

• 4+ years of systems administration experience on UNIX operating systems Linux, Solaris, or HP-UX.
• Experience with Disaster recovery and data replication.
• Hands-on troubleshooting, tuning, and patching experience.
• Experience with administration, configuration, and troubleshooting experience with UNIX Server Cluster, Load Balancing, and Virtualization.
• Certifications: DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II.
