We are seeking an experienced and innovative Tool Designer to lead the development of advanced equipment and tooling solutions that meet the rigorous demands of aerospace product design and manufacturing. In this role, you will:

• Lead Complex Tooling Projects: Develop intricate equipment and tooling concepts and specifications to support aerospace product design and manufacturing requirements.
• Drive Design Excellence: Oversee design reviews, gather design requirements, and manage the creation and revision of detailed drawings.
• Innovate with New Technologies: Explore and integrate robotics, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance manufacturing processes.
• Ensure Compliance and Quality: Verify designs for adherence to safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic considerations, and regulatory standards.
• Standardize Best Practices: Implement best practices into functional process documentation to promote standard work procedures.
• Provide Technical Leadership: Offer technical guidance to support engineering changes and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage Tooling Assets: Oversee the maintenance of hardware and software configurations, assess equipment and tooling conditions, and make recommendations for their disposition.

Requirements:

• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in using CAD systems such as Catia or SolidWorks.
• Blueprint Literacy: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Self-Motivation: Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Educational Background: An associate degree combined with a minimum of six years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with at least four years of related experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.

Citizenship Requirement:

Must have US citizenship or Green Card holder.
