Veterinarian - Long Island, NY - Relocation Assistance + $50k Sign on bonus

Just a 1 hour train ride from NYC, this is a fantastic opportunity offers the chance to see all types of cases from companion pets to exotics including some zoo animals.

This hospital is based in a desirable location and has recently undergone an extensive interior renovation making it brand new on the inside.

Competitive Compensation:

• New graduates start at $110,000, with experienced veterinarians earning up to $160,000 annually.
• 20% production rate.
• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $50,000.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver client- and patient-focused veterinary care
• Collaborate with the Partner Doctor and Center Director to achieve the practice’s vision
• Champion preventive care and maintain high medical standards
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment for staff
• Mentor and develop the skills of team members
• Manage daily patient caseload efficiently while guiding the team
• Communicate effectively with clients using various technologies
• Build lasting relationships with clients and the community.

What We’re Looking For:

• Professional licensure in good standing with the applicable state veterinary board
• 1-2 years of clinical experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Consumer-centric mindset with proven ability to bring, build, and retain a strong client base
• Excellent client communication skills
• Strong interest in the use of technology to advance the practice of veterinary medicine and the pet/pet parent experience
• Highly collaborative and able to deal with ambiguity as well as learning on the fly
• Fear Free and HABRI certification or desire to become certified
