About the Opportunity: Department: Accounting
Reports to: Controller
Responsibilities: - Assist in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Statement Audit, Year-End Close, 1099 Reporting, and ad-hoc projects.
- Contribute to the Accounting and Finance team's processes and procedures.
- Provide feedback to management regarding necessary changes and updates.
- May include other duties as assigned by Management
Position Requirements: - Available to work 10 - 15 hours per week in the Santa Barbara Office.
- Must be a critical thinker, and a detail-oriented problem-solver
- Experience with a Macintosh computer, general understanding of US GAAP, Microsoft Office, and Google Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and analyze problems without extensive context
- Curious and quick learner, with a healthy dose of initiative
- Excellent time management skills, able to efficiently prioritize tasks and remain flexible
- Enjoy a fast-paced and team-based environment with the ability to create a positive environment facing adversities
What we offer: - 3 month long internship program
- June 17th, 2025 - Sept. 12th, 2025
- 500$/month Stipend
- 10-15 hours / week - flexible with your schedule
