About the Opportunity:

Department: Accounting

Reports to: Controller

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Statement Audit, Year-End Close, 1099 Reporting, and ad-hoc projects.
  • Contribute to the Accounting and Finance team's processes and procedures.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding necessary changes and updates.
  • May include other duties as assigned by Management
Position Requirements:
  • Available to work 10 - 15 hours per week in the Santa Barbara Office.
  • Must be a critical thinker, and a detail-oriented problem-solver
  • Experience with a Macintosh computer, general understanding of US GAAP, Microsoft Office, and Google Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to understand and analyze problems without extensive context
  • Curious and quick learner, with a healthy dose of initiative
  • Excellent time management skills, able to efficiently prioritize tasks and remain flexible
  • Enjoy a fast-paced and team-based environment with the ability to create a positive environment facing adversities
