Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager/Controller to oversee and manage the company’s financial operations. This role will be responsible for performing core accounting functions, managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing leadership and guidance to the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial reporting, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support business objectives. Responsibilities:

• Manage and perform core accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and present financial statements and sales reports to company leadership and senior management on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
• Oversee and perform month-end and year-end closings, meeting all deadlines.
• Oversee payroll processing (bi-weekly and semi-monthly) and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records along with supporting documentation, and assist with external audits
• Provide leadership and training to the accounting department staff to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Conduct research and financial analysis to support policy and business strategy.
• Collaborate across departments to optimize processes and workflows.
• Foster professional relationships with internal teams, customers, and vendors at all levels.
• Provide exceptional customer service as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ year of accounting specific experience, with 3+ year in an accounting management role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Extensive experience in payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, and audit procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Dynamics is a plus) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking
• Ability to work independently, leading a team, and collaborate across departments.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing field is a plus.
