Description Are you a talented Digital Photography Retoucher with a passion for color correction, image enhancement, and detailed retouching—especially of rare and historical coins? Set your sights on our photography department at Heritage Auctions (HA.com) is the third largest and one of the fastest growing auction houses in the world. Heritage Auctions handles a wide variety of categories, including currency, luxury accessories, watches, wine, books and manuscripts, fine art, and our coin department is one of the most prestigious and active in the industry.
We are seeking skilled professionals who can expertly retouch collectible coins to bring out the finest details and true beauty. This position is in a high-volume catalog environment with extremely tight turnaround times.
SUMMARY: Responsible for performing photo retouching and color correction on coin images in a high-volume catalog environment.
Candidates must submit a portfolio or examples of their work to be considered; coin examples are not required. LOCATION: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane

COMPENSATION: Commensurate based on experience.
Key Duties & Responsibilities - Color-correcting images for product matching
- Proof to web and print proficiently from RGB to CMYK to meet print industry standards
- Utilize masking, selections, and adjustment layers
- Demonstrate skills in recognizing color and understanding retouching language.
- Using an automated workflow system
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of photo retouching and color correction or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in E-commerce Photo Production a plus
Skills & Abilities - ?Must have experience with Adobe Photoshop CC and Camera Raw
- Experience with color correction, knocking out backgrounds, and retouching
- Experience with Capture One and After Effects is a plus
- A high level of initiative in problem-solving and interaction with on-site clients
- Ability to work well in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic, results-oriented, and proactive
- Organized, methodical and detail-oriented
- Ability to partner well with cross-functional team members
- Excels independently and in a team setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interest in coins a plus!
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Individuals must be able to work in a high-volume catalog environment with extremely tight turnaround times. Must be available to work overtime and/or weekends and must be able to maintain an established work schedule. This position does require you to work on-site.
