· Running automatic tests to determine hardware failures.
· Finding the root cause of the failures at the actual equipment/hardware.
· Determining corrective action of the failures.
· Correcting the failures where possible (easy physical swap outs/replacements) or assigning Assembly to correct the failures. Where needed, pushing the root cause analysis of the failure to Test Engineering.
· Working within Linux to run commands and navigate the system to determine the error and trace it to the hardware failure.
· In-depth understanding of multiple computers performing a wide variety of operations via servers, hardware, and software.
Rate Range: $23/hour to $26/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
