Job Description:
Genesco Sports Enterprises is continuing to expand its client roster activating soccer partnerships and is looking for a highly-motivated Manager, Corporate Consulting to activate a high-profile US Soccer partnership
The Manager, Corporate Consulting will be responsible for planning and delivering day-to-day management of clients’ sports marketing programs - bringing passion, attention to detail and a proactive approach to their role
Primary Responsibilities:
· Strategic day-to-day support of client programs and partnerships including partnership and asset tracking, thought leadership around asset execution, and leading property status calls and contract planning
· Dedication to detail and advanced planning, by leading the activation timelines, creative approvals and communications with clients and partners
· Support on partner/athlete/talent recommendations and negotiations
· Support events and activation of partnerships, including pre-event preparation tasks (coordinate staff, activations, guest list, etc.) and live event leadership
· Foster collaborative relationships with internal agency colleagues, clients, sports partners, vendors
· Strong communication and presentation skills
· Analyze the performance of partnerships and provide recommendations for optimizing
Qualities Required For Role:
· Soccer experience, experience working with soccer properties and/or US federations is highly desirable
· Bachelor's degree and 5+ years related work experience
· Can-do, solutions-oriented attitude with strong work ethic
· Outgoing personality and friendly client/customer-service demeanor
· Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Power Point & Excel skills are strictly required
· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, including under short deadlines
· Attention to detail and follow-through
· Experience in shopper/retail marketing is a plus
· Ability to lift at least 25lbs
· Ability to travel up to 15%
