Job Description

The Pricing Analyst will recommend and implement techniques which support the mutual strategic goals of Servify and Clients in their goals related to consumer device and appliance warranty and protection plan market growth/expansion, revenue and profitability targets.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for all aspects of assigned account pricing portfolio, including reserve/loss cost analysis and assessment of administration costs to service and administer the benefits of supported warranty programs.
• Conduct periodic in-person or virtual reviews of Client’s program performance
• Work with inter-departmental teams to prepare and analyze information on adverse underwriting results, rate concerns, and other underwriting criteria that impact Client portfolio performance;
• Conduct periodic in-person or virtual reviews of Client program performance, and provide recommendations for pricing or related program adjustments as necessary and appropriate to ensure mutual strategic objectives are achieved.
• Drive new opportunities for organic growth of Client’s warranty business by analyzing new product and retailer opportunities and providing recommendations and assessments to key stakeholders.
• Identifies system and data inefficiencies and provides recommendations to resolve such issues.
• Demonstrates technical underwriting skills through strategic, thorough account reviews and file documentation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibilities in the warranty industry or related experience in a pricing role is strongly preferred
• Advanced level of understanding warranty products or industry knowledge
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, PowerBI, SharePoint.
• Advanced proficiency in various data repository platforms (SAS/SQL/etc.)
