Job Description

Talon Hiring Solutions has a client that is looking for a Project Manager to join the team in Birmingham, AL. This role is critical in facilitating communication between cloud service updates, hot-fixes, and environment considerations while serving as the key liaison between teams to ensure smooth releases, risk mitigation, and system stability amid growing cloud complexity.

What you will do

• Serve as the main point of contact between teams to ensure alignment and prevent delays
• Manage schedules, proactively resolve conflicts, and keep projects moving forward
• Oversee cloud service updates, evaluate risks, and ensure testing to minimize downtime
• Identify and manage risks, track dependencies, and optimize resource use for system reliability.
• Handle environment-related tasks, oversee intake requests, and improve resource planning
• Use Jira to track requests, manage workflows, and report on progress and risks.

What you will bring

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in release management or environment coordination.
• Strong project management skills with expertise in Jira or similar tools.
• Coordination of multiple projects, track schedules and resolve conflicts
• Proficiency in cloud environments, software release cycles, and system integrations
• Exceptional communication, stake holder collaboration, and risk management
• Strong project planning, management, proactive problem solving and risk mitigation skills.
